French documentary makers are being [ prosecuted for filming in West Papua ]( http://www.hrw.org/news/2014/10/16/indonesia-free-french-reporters-detained-papua ) , where foreign journalists are not allowed. Indonesia took over West Papua by force in the 1960s when the Dutch pulled out, and has sent large numbers of Javanese colonists. It's somewhat like China and Tibet.
